National Forest's "One Million" Album Out Now
'One Million' is the second album from Manchester based National Forest and is building on the critical acclaim of his debut self-titled album.

'One Million' notably includes the vocal talents of Matthew Greener (front man of Morning Runner) on the bewitching single 'In Your Makeup', with Manda Rin (formally of Bis) complementing the pop stylings of 'Smile Says Go'. To round off the collaborations, troubadour Jacob Fletcher features on the fabulous 'A.M. Lights'.

"The first weeks UK sales of National Forest's new album 'One Million' has out paced all expectation and there's been alot of interest from abroad" said faith & hope's David Wood. "The A.M Lights single has done really well with most independent record stores selling out the 7" within a week. I'd like to say a big thanks to Leeds based artist Leon Sadler who's done National Forest's first ever video (click here to watch) which we love. And finally a special thanks for the phenomenal support from all the fans of National Forest, don't forget, the album's out now and it's been worth the wait!"

"One Million" by National Forest is available on CD on faith & hope (FH060CD) at all good record shops or purchase your copy online from either Piccadilly records or HMV.

National Forest's On A Roll In The Studio
We want all National Forest fans to know that the his new album is nearly complete, all the tracks have been recorded and mixing is underway - it is sounding fantastic.

The album will feature more vocals than his debut, spurred on by the success of the first album's critically acclaimed 'Folk' which featuring the first recorded outing for Stephen Fretwell, now of course having great success in his own right. We can confirm that the new album line-up includes Jake Fletcher of Grand transmitter, Amanda Mackinnon of BIS and Dan himself. Dan has recorded eighteen tracks and will choose twelve or thirteen for the album.

Neil of faith & hope says "This album is a real step up from the National Forest debut, with more up-tempo and vocal tracks than before but still interspersed with trademark National Forest instrumentals. It's also a lot more live sounding with live guitar and bass alongside bizarre Atari generated synths. And the vocal tracks are all great….. What more could you want!'.
