Los Paranoias On 'Queer Eye For The Straight Guy'
Los Paranoias' amazing track 'Queen B' is being used in the American TV series 'Queer Eye For The Straight Guy' which is shown in the UK on Bravo TV (SKY channel 124).
The series follows the 'Fab Five' (An interior designer, a fashion stylist, a chef, a beauty guru and a "concierge of cool") who are all gay. They transform and educate a straight man on everything from hair products to Prada and Feng Shui to foreign films. At the end of every fashion-packed, fun-filled lifestyle makeover, a freshly scrubbed, newly enlightened guy emerges — complete with that "new man" smell!
'Queer Eye for the Straight Guy' is a one-hour guide to "building a better straight man" and was awarded the 2004 Emmy Award for Outstanding Reality Program.

Mercury Music Prize Result
Our Los Paranoias boys have just missed out on the short list for this years Mercury Music Prize. Their fantastic new album I.D.S.T was described by the Observer as a "classy debut album".
Our congratulations go to all the finalists including: Amy Winehouse, Snow Patrol, The Streets, Keane, Jamelia, The Zutons, Joss Stone, Belle & Sebastian Basement Jaxx, Franz Ferdinand, Ty and Robert Wyatt.
For the last two years the Mercury Music Prize TV show has used Mint Royales "From Rusholme with Love" for the programme, Lets hope they continue.
