Faith & Hope are proud to announce that Feel Music of Seoul Korea is the exclusive licensee of Shirokuma's debut album "Secret Moves At The Midnight Chess Club".

Feel Music, established in 2000, is a record label that licenses and markets international music. It releases all genres of music including Crossover, Pop and Jazz. Feel Music is excellent at developing and marketing undiscovered, but promising, artists from all over the world. With music you've never heard before, Feel Music is creating the key to unlock a whole new world of excitement and dreams.

Feel Music's President Jay W. Sung was previously with Jigu Records, Sony Music and the Orange label in Korea and had worked as a pop music journalist in radio and music mags until he left Korea in 1997 to study the music business in the U.S. After graduating, Jay moved from Colorado to L.A to join Restless Records. With Jay's marketing Director Helen Won, who also worked at Sony Music Korea, faith & hope’s David Wood said, “Shirokuma now has a wonderful home in Korea run by an extremely professional management team”. Shirokuma - Collectors Edition Double 10”
The dearly missed John Peel’s favourite maverick J-pop genius “Shirokuma” who NME said, "makes us want to have sex in dressing up clothes" has a “Collectors Edition Double 10” Vinyl Release” of “Moonlight In The Afternoon” out in June on Faith & Hope.

Described as “The missing link between Stereolab and Cornelius" this is going to be a really cool record, which will be in short supply due to the worldwide demand. If you fancy something really interesting in your collection that has some great mixes on, then this is the one for you!

Shirokuma's “Moonlight In The Afternoon” Collectors Edition Double 10”
Vinyl Vinyl One Includes - 1. Moonlight In The Afternoon (The Original) / 2. Spraypaint / 3. There Is Such A Place…
Vinyl Two Includes - 1. Moonlight In The Afternoon (Max Tundra Mix) / 2. Moonlight In The Afternoon (Andy Votel Mix) / 3. T.B.C

The Remixes Listening to the Max Tunda Mix of Shirokuma's Moonlight In The Afternoon it's hard to imagine that record companies rejected his own demos for 'having too many ideas' but he can have more ideas per minute than most of his contemporaries can manage over the course of a career but Max Tunda can also display a pure pop sensibility with sweet melodies, rhythmic punch and blasts of comercialism. A really fantastic mix. To find out more about Max, visit Max Tunda's website.

Described as "a leading light in abstract electronica" Andy Votel is a man that all of us at Faith & Hope love and respect. Not for running Twisted Nerve, another one of Manchester's great labels. Not for being an international artist with XL Recordings. Not even for being an award-winning graphic designer and film-maker. And not even for being one of the U.K's leading producers who's done remixers for companies including XL, Mercury, V2, Ministry Of Sound and Island Records for the likes of Ian Brown, Elbow, Death In Vegas and Kings Of Convenience. No, we love and respect Andy for the absolutely ace mix he’s done of Shirokuma's Moonlight In The Afternoon. (Thanks Andy). To find out more about visit Andy's website.
